Canmore Earth Hour
Canmore Earth HourI originally set out to shoot a time lapse during the annual WWF earth hour. A memory card failure interrupted that plan but I still shot a landscape! More information about EH can be found at http://www.earthhour.org/
Still Sunrise
Still SunriseThe days blur living in Canmore, the choice for outdoor adventure is limitless but sometimes its best to stop and just watch. This image is a single four minute exposure shot near the Nordic Centre.

Moon Streak
Moon StreakWith the Sun setting behind me and my feet numb from the cold creek, I turned my camera at the rising Moon and it's subtle reflection. Tonight it will transform into a blood Moon.
Christmas Bear
Christmas BearWhile walking up Cougar Creek in the early and late hours you may get a fright from the silhouette of this fella. But it's close to Christmas giving me a chance to take advantage of the bears new bling and use my 50mm for some hand held nighttime shooting.
Debris station
Debris stationJune 20th 2013, Canmore. Water from the swelling Cougar creek washes debris all over the railway tracks.

Waynes' Winter Wonderland
Waynes' Winter WonderlandCanmore got its fair share of snow over the last few days giving the Rockies landscape a new Christmasy look.
Bend in the Bow
Bend in the BowThe Bow has slowed down for the coming cold months in Canmore gifting us a clear view of the water worn rocks resting beneath. I have always enjoyed visiting different locations along the river to see if it holds another great mountain view. This bend in the Bow is close to home and features East end of Rundle and Ha Ling peak.
